Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. We do not retain a separate copy of those searches on our servers. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting systems log common technical details, including an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps us maintain the site and see which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where those features apply.
How We Use Data
We use this limited information to run the site, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve the resource pages. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government portals, Contra Costa County and California offices, library collections, and third-party search services. Information submitted on those services is controlled by their own privacy terms. The same applies to sponsored results, which come from a separate provider.
Limited Data Disclosure
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may also disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Data Safeguards
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because the site has no user accounts, it stores no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This resource is for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted personal information so we can remove it.
Your California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives eligible California consumers rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information held by covered businesses, subject to exceptions. We can search our contact mailbox and server logs for a request because we hold little visitor data. Use the Contact page to submit one. Government records held by Hercules, Contra Costa County, or California remain under the custodian's control, and public-record information can fall outside key parts of this consumer-privacy law.
Policy Changes
Any revised policy will appear here. Your continued use after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
